Not sure how a month and a half has gone by without me posting. We've had some hurdles with getting school done in a timely manner which is part of the problem. We've also had a lot of activities the past couple months as you'll see from the slew of photos. We haven't had a free weekend since the beginning of January. While it's nice to get out and do a lot, I'm looking forward to a less busy March.
The kids are all still doing their regular activities - art class, gymnastics, and speech therapy. We have lots of weekly commitments, so while some of these things are going on, the rest of us go to the park. With everything going on and trying to get school done, we don't go outside a whole lot at home, so we make up for it when we're out. The weather has been so nice lately!
Here's what we've been up to:
- My cousin visited in mid January and we had a family get-together
- Celebrated our 100th day of school and did some special activities
- The girls made lap books for inauguration day
- AHG Mid-Year Ceremony
- Visited the Children's Museum one last time this year (our annual passes just expired)
- For AHG the girl's started an Adopt-a-Cop program where they are supposed to pray for and send encouraging notes to their cop. To get it started, we collected snacks and drinks and took them to the police station. We got to tour the station when we dropped off the goodies.
- We went to the circus.
- AHG Camp-In (slept overnight at the church) which included a fashion show as the girls were working on their "My Style" badge.
- Big Boy celebrated his 5th birthday and he had a party the following weekend with his friends.
- Hubby and I got away for the weekend to the mountains. It was our first time in over 10 years that just the 2 of us went somewhere overnight.
- Each of the kids had a friend over one afternoon and that same day, L'il Girl's best friend was having Buddy Day at school, so they all got to spend time with their best friends.
- This past weekend we visited our capital and got to see the statehouse, tour the state museum, and go to the zoo.

Never a dull moment for sure. Loved all the pictures. Never can have too many pictures. The only regret sometimes is not having enough. Glad you all were able to go and enjoy all the places. Thanks so much for sharing.
