Field Trip and a 9th Birthday

If you haven't checked lately, there are several new posts, and I'm happy to report that my blog is up to date, at least for now. 😃

Here are some photos from a field trip we took with our homeschool co-op last week, a visit to see my Grandparents, and our girl's 9th Birthday on Wednesday.  The field trip was to a former cotton plantation where the kids learned how to make hoe cakes (literally cooked on a hoe), bricks, and cedar shingles.
