8 Months Old

Our sweet boy turned 8 months old yesterday.  He is such a happy baby, until I leave the room he's in. :-)  Here's what he's up to:

• Says "ma-ma" sometimes when he's crying
• Almost crawling - gets on all fours and moves his legs forward in a crawling motion, but not his hands yet.
• Loves to jump - he spends lots of time in his jolly jumper, so when he's not in it, he still tries to jump, like when I'm holding him or even when he's sitting.
• Loves to pound his hands on his high chair and the table.  The girls say he is going to be a drummer.
• Still not sleeping through the night.  He's up a couple times to nurse through the night.
• Not fond of solids.  He's tried rice cereal and bananas and doesn't like either of them.
• Mimics my facial expressions.  More specifically, when I close my eyes tight and smile at him, he'll do the same back to me.
• Has 4 teeth
• Grabs everything in reach (including his sisters' hair)
• Loves bath time
• Loves to be entertained by his siblings
• Loves his mommy!  Oh, and Daddy, but especially Mommy! :-)
