Snow

Last week we got not one, but two snowfalls!  That's not very common for where we live. The first was just a dusting, but it was enough for the girls to make a snow family.  We got about 2 inches with the second round and the kids and Daddy made a snow fort.  It took the equivalent of 11 snowmen to make the fort.  Both times, it was great packing snow!

It almost seems funny to post about snow today because it is 65 degrees outside and the kids are playing out back and don't even need jackets!

Here are some pictures from our time in the snow:

He was getting over a cold, so I didn't take him out the first time it snowed.  He stayed by the door and windows just watching his siblings play.

Here's their snow family - a daddy, mommy, and baby on the left.

This was the second batch of snow.

The kids were so anxious to play, they went out on the deck to check out the snow before we got all suited up to play in it.

  1. I really, really love the last picture !!! You both look so happy to be out in the snow. What a great picture of the two of you.
The kids too, looked like they were having fun. The fort would be good for hiding behind throwing snowballs.
What a beautiful picture of the house with all the snow.
Did someone lose another tooth? Glad you all had fun. Thanks Jess so much for sharing.

    Love to everyone
