Where to begin?
Well, for starters, we went to visit family over the weekend and met our sweet little niece. She is so tiny, especially compared to our big boy, even though they're only a little over 2 months apart. It was wonderful to see our family.
Yesterday I took L'il Girl to her 3 year appointment (only 5 months late) :-) and she did excellent! She only cried a little before her shots and just after, but didn't even flinch for the finger prick. I was so proud of her! She is 39.6 lbs and is 41 inches tall. She's still in the 90's in terms of percentile for both weight and height. That doesn't come as any surprise though when we see her next to other 3 year olds.
We got our second row of green beans planted yesterday. Our garden is really starting to take off. The potato plants have come up and the first row of green beans has sprouted.
Baby Boy is doing great! He is sleeping longer at night (sometimes having a 5 or 6 hour stretch in between his feedings). He is cooing, smiling, and even giggling now. He loves his carseat, when the car is moving, and loves to swing and be outside. He has been sucking on his fingers a lot lately, and sometimes sticks his thumb in his mouth. This might be thumb sucker #3 for us. I keep trying the pacifier, but he spits it out.
While at the doctor's office yesterday, I had Baby Boy weighed and he is almost 15 lbs already!

ReplyDeleteNice for you that our little guy is sleeping longer at nights. I love his little giggles and smiles!!
How nice our girl has learned to play UNO,we'll be able to play together on our next visit.
Exciting to see your veggies starting to pop up through the ground!! Hope you have a good growing season.
So nice seeing you all on the weekend.
Love Mom
Hi there - I cannot believe how much your wee boy has grown - especially when you see him and his baby cousin together. He does have the sweetest smile. The one with the 5 girls on the stairs is adorable but loved all the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking I should plan a visit when all those veggies are ready - you are doing quite the job with your garden. There must be something in the air there the way your kiddies and garden are growing so fast.
Love to all
Such wonderful pictures as always!!! So glad you had such a great visit and got to see your newest niece! I'm envious, of course. :-)That's such a precious picture of the two youngest cousins together. Looks like everyone had a fun time at the zoo. So glad they got to see the peacock with the feathers full spread. That is often a rare thing to see. Your garden is really coming along. Glad to see the girls helping with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all the pictures!! Loved them all!!! Agree with Aunt L that our boy has such an adorable smile!
