Heaven
Big Girl is asking some good questions now - some are so good that I have to think for a few seconds or possibly longer before coming up with an answer that she will understand. On the way home from church tonight we were talking about heaven and who goes to heaven. She often says she wants to go to heaven. Anyways, I was trying to explain the concept of death and heaven to her and she asked me "how do we get to heaven Mommy?" So I started to explain what I have told her before about accepting Jesus as our Savior and how we have to ask Him to come into our heart and she stopped me and said, "No. How do we get to heaven? Will we go in the van?" :-)

That is so like a child just wanting a simple answer to a question!!I can just imagine hearing her asking you that in her quiet little voice.Cute,very cute.It's good to know she is listening and taking things in.
ReplyDeleteMom fell tonight and couldn't get up.Dad couldn't help her up either.Please pray for Mom that she hasn't broken any bones.She is to stay overnight in the hospital.Dad needs prayer to as he stays with her.
Mom is home.No heart attack,stroke or broken bones.She has no strength in her arms or legs.We will see what needs to be done now for her.Love Mom

ReplyDeleteAlso, so glad that "Grandma N" is back home. We've been praying for her and will continue praying for her and "Grandpa N".
Mom called this morning.She had a good night.She is improving,and able to get around a little better today.Thank you for your prayers on their behalf.
