Our Week

Yes, it really is me!  I took a little break from blogging this past week to take care of sick children and plan and host a birthday party for our soon to be 4 year old.  Typically at this time on a Sunday afternoon I am trying to catch some ZZZ's between church services, but this afternoon we are having a special memorial service at church for someone in our church family who passed away unexpectedly this past week.  We're having a fellowship after the service, so I have to make some food for that.

While the brownies are baking, I figured I'd try to get caught up on some picture posting so you can see how much the kiddos have grown in a week's time.

Our week started out not so good with L'il Girl and Baby Girl being sick for a couple of days.  L'il Girl's birthday party was going to be Friday because her cousins were in town for a few days, but we postponed it until Saturday to make sure the girls were completely over their sickness.  We had a good visit and she had a wonderful party.  I'll post pictures of the party later.

The picture doesn't do it justice.  I was making dinner this week and the girls were sitting together at the counter playing so nicely together.  Often times their play time together is accompanied by screaming and crying, so I just soak in the times when they are playing so sweet!

Big Girl's first attempt at feeding her brother baby food.  She did really good, but he decided to put his head down while she had the spoon up to his face. :-)
