Anyways, here's what's been going on in our lives lately:
Daddy took both the older girls out for some one-on-one time. He took L'il Girl out last Thursday night and Big Girl Tuesday night this week. They both chose Pizza Hut for dinner, which is great for me because they brought me home some leftover pizza. :-) After dinner, he took the girls to a pet store - to look only - and then took them to the store to get them a little something. L'il Girl picked out a tin tote with Tinkerbell. She loves to put things inside purses, backpacks, pails, and anything she can find, so this is perfect for her.
Big Girl has really been wanting a purse. She has some little play purses, but wanted a real purse. So after much searching, they found the perfect purse for her, and Daddy helped her fill it up with some of the essentials - chap stick, kleenex, pen and a writing pad. She says she wanted to take it with her everywhere, and she has so far. :-)
Big Girl finished 180 days of school on Tuesday! I"m so proud of her. She has finished 1st grade and will be starting 2nd grade the beginning of August. We celebrated not having to do school yesterday by surprising Daddy at his work and then we went to visit my Grandma. It's nice to have the afternoons free!
What would a blog post be without some pictures? Here are a few from the last couple of days and today.

Baby Girl being her silly self. She requested a picture with her brother and this is the face she gives me.

We went to a visitation today. A couple that attends our church lost their 19 year old son. Took this picture just before we got our shoes on and headed out the door.

I say "smile" and this is what she does. Can she close those eyes any tighter?

Yeah for Big Girl!!! We are so proud of her, too!
ReplyDeleteThat is so neat how Daddy has his own special night with each of the girls. They both definitely enjoyed their special one-on- one time with him.
Loved all the pictures!!! The one with all three girls ready to go to the visitation was really cute! Also, thought the picture of our boy in the solid red shirt was really adorable!
Thanks for sharing, Jess.
