I took Baby Boy to the doctor for a check up yesterday. He was 11 days old yesterday and weighed 8 lbs 9 oz. They measured him at 21.5 inches which is 2 inches more than his length at birth. I think that measurement might be off a little, but we'll know better by his one month appointment. Regardless, he is growing and doing great.
Dad has been busy cleaning up our wooded area out back. He took down an old, rusted barbed wire fence and has been cutting down vines and brush. Mom and Dad spent a lot of time on Thursday collecting brush and then yesterday we burned a massive pile. We took advantage of the fire and roasted hotdogs and made smores. Yummy! Hubby's sister and her family arrived yesterday and will be here for a week. It's great to have them here and the cousins are having a ball playing together.

That is great to be taking advantage of the wonderful weather. We have had unusually warm weather for this winter. I know you're so thankful for all that's being accomplished outside! Looks like you've got some wonderful help, too! It's nice when you can mix some pleasure in with all the hard work! :)
