Rearing to go

Baby has really had some major developments in the last week or so. Over the weekend she started to say some consonant sounds, "ba" and "ma", but her favorite noise is still "grrrrr" in a gruff voice. :-)

She also has a hard time staying in one place. We have a blanket that we lay on the living room floor to put her on with her toys, but within a couple minutes she's either rolled or scooted off the blanket. Now she frequently gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. Last night she even moved one knee forward and then plunged flat on the floor. Here's some combined video clips of her "rearing to go". You can hear good ol' Noggin (for those unfamiliar - a preschool cable channel) in the background.

  2. Give her another week or so and she'll probably be on the go. Then the fun begins! :)
