Baby just started making some more consonant sounds when we got back from vacation. She says "wa", "ba", and "da" sounds all mixed together. For a brief time a while back she said "ma", but I don't think it counts as "ma-ma". So it's very possible that her first word might be "da-da" now. We shall see. :-)

That is so cute.What a happy,sweet girl she is.It is always interesting to hear what they say first,"ma ma" or "da da".We will wait to find out.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable. Nadia makes those same sounds. She really likes the da-da and ba-ba and ta-ta sounds. Tonight, she spent about 1 hr laying on the bed with me just talking and laughing before zonking out to sleep.
ReplyDeleteIts funny that Laelyn and Nadia have the same facial expressions when they talk and they seem very interested in their hands. Nadia likes to stare at her hand and open and close her fist like she is signaling me to "come here".
